Backyard Wrestling is the brainchild of singer-songwriter Arison Cain.
Arison grew up in the 1,000 Islands in Northern New York and has traveled America making music for the better part of the past 15 years.
He founded Backyard Wrestling in the Summer of 2017 with his brother Adam Londraville, and their friends Joe Foy and Stephen Dettmer.
They released a self-titled EP in the fall of that year, playing a number of shows around New York state, sharing the stage with bands like Remo Drive, The Ataris, and SWMRS.
They drew acclaim for their energetic and wildly entertaining performances, which were inspired by the spectacle of classic rock and the pageantry of vintage professional wrestling.
Since then, Arison has relocated to Los Angeles, CA with the intention of continuing the project. Adam and Steve have continued to contribute to studio recordings remotely.
Backyard Wrestling is preparing to release a new full-length album named JORTS in 2023.
